ok before we talk about food can we just, like, these mountains, and the fog, i cannot even convey with words or a photo i just
surprise! hamburg again (was SO good, was a pork/beef mix, somehow not packed tight, very loosely textured, delicate flavor could taste the pork + beef not just ‘meat mash’, veg was roasted well (idk bout the corn or pickles), and great sauce) and finally got the hot choc i’ve been thinking of recently (which was also great, v dark choc, and the light cream ugh)
  • nikko station pretty fancy. no great pics, but the signs for this train line are faux european ‘old’ style + this pink station + many tourists
  • famous red bridge ft. mountain + fog in back
  • mountains walking to the lodge
  • more mountains before crossing the street
  • mountains walking into town…. agh just… i love mountains + fog so much
relatively cheap ramen (esp with the meals i’ve been having recently rip) + gyoza! the ramen was so good, with pork slices, and slight fish taste in the broth. really enjoying tasting the nuances across different ramens i’ve had bless 🙂
