[DAY25] beautiful temples, great weather, and more yums

  • Morioka to Sendai with a stop in Hiraizumi!
  • many temples, Hiraizumi town so nice to walk around, blessed with incredible weather and such a blue sky just so blue
  • JR pass is beautiful
tempura soba lunch at 麵房 near motsuji temple. opened at 11am so we walked around waiting for it to open. the owner was super nice! soba was decent, tempura was good, the mushrooms were a treat and the daikon just a bit spicy.
  • pond/little lake in motsuji temple, so gorgeous
  • blessed with weather this day, sky was incredibly blue
  • mountains (cry)
  • many temples!
  • train station
  • sendai! such a big city, felt like walking into tokyo again when i walked out of sendai station.
dinner, hamburger rice, with onsen egg. fantastic.
got a taste of T.’s beef stew (on right), also real fantastic, so much flavor and so tender.
