- cloudy drizzly day in Morioka, a pretty low key city
- walked around to different tourist spots, did not see any tourists and had whole temple grounds to myself and T.! pretty incredible
right: chestnut (it’s in season!) fluffy pancakes with sesame ice cream!! T. has been mentioning the pancakes, and we finally got some lol

graves beside the temples

walkway into temple
walkway into this temple (bottom right) was really an experience. wanted to film a kind of VR short clip if i could. just really fascinating how the layout of the space, size and design of the gates, lining of the pathway, arrangement of what’s beyond the next gate creates such a… humbling and… cleansing(?) experience. esp without any other people around! (yes, my geog/spatial side is coming out rip)
grocery store takeout foods for dinner because a) i needed veg b) my wallet was and is crying
cider was good, nothing particularly special, but solid cider. glad i got to try it.
apple pudding had this great texture… not too eggy or tight(/solid?) or watery/runny. tasted mostly like honey, with a subtle apple flavor… was really interesting, wish i could somehow capture the flavor and just pocket it to revisit.
