[DAY18] tight hotel sheet beds + music!, reading, onsen

Sunday, Oct 13
  • woke up to the sound of the typhoon (hello Typhoon Hagibis)
  • made many beds, and was given the speaker to play my music!! great start to day
  • spicy fried rice lunch from masa rip my stomach
  • did some reading, went to onsen again, though this time unfortunately forgot it was sunday and there were many people (probably 6+ times more than last time) and many children……….
  • finished my book, was not worth the money nor time, not great end to day
getting slightly faster at making the beds and hopefully slightly better too lol

had half day off in afternoon because haven’t taken my two days off (per week) yet. tomorrow will be day off too! wish i had pic of how the sunlight hit the autumn leaves and branches in the outside onsen. was so peaceful. and sound of the typhoon wind relentless pulling me back to the present while in the outside onsen. was good.

Becky is from Manchester, and she made thicker gravy than T.’s last time because ‘Northerner’s make gravy right, not like Southerner’s’ lol.
Veggie sheperd’s pie + gravy + peas yum tum was very hungry, salad, rice, this amazing leftover seafood soup with squid and clam
