- drive through Otaru, brief stop feel the strong ocean breeze (chilly!)
- settle into Niseko guest lodge (yay for staying somewhere for more than 2 nights…!)
- amazing dinner with the group 本当に幸せ

pic doesn’t show super clearly, but the cliffs in the bag, with the mist of the ocean was so gorgeous. reminded me of that coastline in northland when i was staying with the flax weaver in small town NZ in 2016- also large waves crashing onto the coastline after having travelled so far to meet land.

mini bonding over the greatness of a solid milk tea and the instant comfort when we settle into the lodge. masa says, ‘tea is like onsen’, and yes, that’s it. it’s that ‘ahhhh’ feeling. ❤

(no close up food pix sumimasen)
