on coastline of Hokkaido, huge ocean waves! strong winds, so chilly but so refreshing :’)

pic doesn’t show super clearly, but the cliffs in the bag, with the mist of the ocean was so gorgeous. reminded me of that coastline in northland when i was staying with the flax weaver in small town NZ in 2016- also large waves crashing onto the coastline after having travelled so far to meet land.

four mugs in line for the water to boil

mini bonding over the greatness of a solid milk tea and the instant comfort when we settle into the lodge. masa says, ‘tea is like onsen’, and yes, that’s it. it’s that ‘ahhhh’ feeling. ❤
